Elmswood House is a superb Victorian guest house retaining many of it's original features. It is situated in the historic village of Tywardreath just 4 miles from Fowey and the Eden Project, and close to Heligan, Mevagissey,local beaches, coastal walks and many popular attractions. This lovely rural village inspired Daphne du Maurier to feature Tywardreath in her classic novel "The House on the Strand" and it is only a few minuets walk from Elmswood to a couple of local pubs offering well kept beers and good food.
We offer 6 beautifully appointed en-suite rooms including a king size double, twin and ground floor family rooms, which are all luxuriously appointed and feature quality bedding with Egyptian cotton sheets, freeview digital TV, tea & coffee making facilities and many extras.

We are centrally located on the Cornish Riviera just 4 miles from Fowey and the Eden Project, with St Austell, Mevagissey, Heligan's garden, local beaches and coastal path and many other popular attractions very close to hand. The village is served by the Fowey-St Austell bus service; and Par railway station on the London-Penzance lines is only 5 minutes walk. Newquay Airport is a 40 minute drive and for motorists we have a private car park.
