Providence Farm B&B has a very pleasant country feel to the property, set in a picturesque wooded valley, and yet it is just 2 miles from St. Austell town, 3 miles from the Eden Project and about 4 to 5 miles from the south Cornish coast.

Providence Farm offers 2 Double en suite bedrooms with shower rooms, Satellite Colour televisions, Wi-Fi, Hairdryers and Tea & Coffee facilities in each room :

“Cornflower” is a lovely bright Double room with very pleasant views across the garden and surrounding countryside. It has a generous ensuite shower room.

“Rose”, our second double room, has lots of character with sloping ceilings and beams. It enjoys views over the rear courtyard garden and also has an ensuite shower room.

Your breakfast is served in our sunny lounge / dining room and includes a selection from fruit juices, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and a full English breakfast with our fresh free range eggs

Being centrally situated in Cornwall, with easy links to the major road networks, we are an ideal base for touring. Major attractions are close by : The Eden Project (3 miles), Charlestown (5 miles), Mevagissey (9 miles) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (11 miles). We are only 500 metres from Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum, a great open-air industrial heritage attraction, explaining the history of the China Clay industry.

From Wheal Martyn, the China Clay Cycle trail runs over the clay workings to The Eden Project or down the valley to St. Austell and then to the coast at Pentewan or up to Heligan Gardens and Mevagissey. If you'd like to explore the area by bike, we have bicycles available for our guests to hire

Providence Farm is a small holding rather than a working farm, although we do have 4 horses and free range chickens that our guests are most welcome to meet. The whole house is full of character. Our guests are welcome to enjoy any of the numerous seating areas around the property. Alternatively, if you're feeling energetic, walk to the top of an adjacent landscaped clay borough, known locally as “Sky Trail” where you may spot rabbits, foxes, buzzards and occasional deer as well as fabulous views. Our three little friendly terriers will be more than pleased to show you the way!!

There is ample car parking on site.

Discounts may be available for longer stays, please ask.Edit Description
